Greene County Family Medicine Clinic began offering behavioral health services in January with the addition of board certified psychiatric mental health practitioner (PMHNP-BC) Heather Wilson. Now, Bonnie Riphagen, a licensed master of social work (LMSW) joins Wilson in the clinic as a mental health therapist to offer more behavioral health services.
Riphagen provides counseling, diagnosis, evaluation/assessment, plan of care/treatment development and collaboration with the health care team. “I am pleased to join Heather Wilson and offer more behavioral health servicers in the Greene County Family Medicine Clinic,” Riphagen said.
Before her job at Greene County Medical Center, Riphagen worked on an inpatient behavioral health unit as a mental health therapist, crisis intervention and addiction therapist, bereavement coordinator and family services coordinator.
She graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in child and family services and a licensed masters’ degree from University of Iowa in social work (LMSW).
Persons who want to schedule an appointment with Riphagen can call the Greene County Family Medicine Clinic at 515-386-0500.
